Excuse the late reply as work has been hectic. The good, the bad and the ugly of the former Fanatics Show. Friday was practically dead and I would assume a record low in ticket sales. Bob Lilly was quite busy as I waited over a hour in line. Although he was free with the purchase of admission, so that would explain his long line. Saturday and Sunday was an average crowd. The line for tickets was no more than three deep at any given time throughout Saturday and Sunday. The entrance to the autograph pavilion was as always over-crowded with over-anxious morons. It seems Fanatics nor any type of security can control this, so big props to the idiots with ticket #180 standing in front blocking the autograph entrance. I had an incredible experience with Hope Solo. We conversed for 10 minutes about her suspension and France 2019. Brandi Chastain and Gary Sheff were incredibly nice as well. Tommy Lasorda autograph is getting shakey, so get him while you can. The handlers were very patient and allowed the athletes to actually interact. Possibly due to low attendance.
The ugly, I arrived at 12:30 Sunday to obtain Dierdorf, who was on the schedule for 2:30 per posted time slots. I waited until 2:45 before questioning the staff where is Dierdorf? No one could provide an answer for about half hour. I finally received an answer, "We think he signed earlier." THINK?!?! I contacted a friend who is a vendor in the back, went in the back to attempt to find Dierdorf. No where to be found. I confirmed he signed earlier and no explanation was provided as to why it was not announced. A majority of these large name promoters need to learn courtesy as they fail to realize people spend a lot of money at these events.
